Day One - Toowoomba

After spending the entire day getting everything packed up (how can it take so long??), we were finally all ready to go right on 5pm. A quick stop at Di's to drop off some fruit and vegies and a bag of rubbish for her bin (thank you!) and we were on our way.

We hit the peak hour traffic within 10 minutes of being on the road and spent the next hour getting out of Brisbane. It gave us a great chance to fiddle with the car, the stereo system, find spots to put those little things, practice changing the caravan brakes' response, and generally settle in.

Our first stop was at Withcott, where we had pizza for dinner at our favourite pizza shop, Papa Joe's.

After sharing a supreme between the adults and a meat lovers between the kids, we headed up the hill to Grandpa's house for the night.
