Our first stop at Horsham was at the tourist information centre where we found very enthusiastic staff. They directed us to the local laundromat which was our main focus for the morning. Leaving our clothes to have their bath, we explored the main street of Horsham and found one of Peter's favourite shops, Jaycar. We spent some time looking through the shelves at the electronic gadgets, the kids picking up and playing with as many things as Peter. I managed to eventually usher everyone out with only one thing purchased.
With the washing done, it was time to continue on and we made it just down the road before grumbling bellies got the best of us. We ate our lunch in a lovely park in Natimuk. It was freezing cold and windy but at least it wasn't raining!
The next stop was the South Australian border where we stopped to take a photo at the sign.
Not long afterwards, we arrived in Naracoorte, today's destination.
We had originally come here for one thing only - the caves. After driving through town, we decided we would need to spend some time exploring as well. A particularly fetching church on a hill attracted our attention so we decided to come back into town on Sunday before heading to Mt Gambier.
Tomorrow is a day full of caving. The plan is to visit the Wet Cave first, then join a tour of the Victoria Fossil Cave, have a quick lunch and then get into the exciting business of adventure caving before checking out the Wonambi Fossil Centre. We had a sneek peek when purchased our tickets late this afternoon.

I think we'll have some tired kids ( and adults) by dinner time tomorrow!
Looking forward to the adventure cave post!
